Description
When authority is very difficult and needs experienced people, Princess Victoria begins her life with great difficulty because of it. The Young Victoria is an attractive film. While many period pieces overwhelm with flashy production design in order to get attention, the stellar art direction found here is luscious yet never vulgarly so.

It's a muddled but plush experience overall, and if you're a royalist completist or a historical romantic, you'll probably have a decent time. As much as Blunt may have wanted the role, though, I'm not sure it suits her.
